The fact that you continually support them, despite their continued mediocrity is acceptance. I mean, there's just no way around that. You can hope they'll get better in the future, but today is still today.

Good, now bring in someone like Denver's OC and I'll be happy.

I have to imagine Mike Tice will also be fired.

I'm not OK with mediocrity, I want success. On the other hand, I'm not a quitter, nor am I a bandwagon fan. My allegiance will stay the same through thick and thin.

Re: Bears Fans: Lovie Smith
The Bears have the offensive and defensive talent to compete in the playoffs, just need to come up with an efficient offensive scheme that they can execute, and upgrade the offensive line through free agents and the draft.
Try to trade Hester for draft picks, because if he's not returning kicks for touchdowns, he's worthless.

Re: Bears Fans: Lovie Smith
I hope they keep Dave Toub (special teams coach) and would be okay if they keep Marinelli around as defensive coordinator.

Ok, so even when they have down years, you don't like it, but you don't give up on them, continue to support them, and hope they get better. That's acceptance. Begrudged acceptance, maybe, but acceptance nonetheless.

what are you even talking about? lol

what are you even talking about? lol exactly, if you truly did not accept mediocrity from time to time, you'd be a bandwagon fan, jumping from hot team to hot team, because you can't accept cheering for mediocrity.
