Re: Jerry Jones promises that change is coming to the Cowboys
I'm guessing Ryan clashed with Garret or Jones, or they didn't like him making an *** of himself on the sidelines. Before the injuries the D was playing at a high level, but I'm not sure if that's because they actually have a secondary this year or if it was coaching.
To me this sounded like Garret's call since he was the one who told him.

Totally disagree Bigman....in the ESPN release, they speak to Garrett giving Ryan the vote of confidence in the exit interviews with reporters and saying he did a very good job.
This to me is Jerry sticking his plastic nose in to say "Hey Jason, we cannot sit back and not fire you, so we need to make changes - ummmm fire Ryan that will make noise, and oh yeah lets fire the RB's coach nobody has ever heard of because Murray got hurt, he's not doing his job either....
I love how he points at the Chicago and Seattle games as evidence of defensive failings. In Seattle, their offense only put up 7 points, and had a punt blocked for a TD. Against Chicago, Romo threw five interceptions, two of which were returned for TD's.
I'm not going to say that the defense was stellar on those days, but give me a break Jerry. The Dallas offense put them behind the eight ball in both those games.
