I root for the Steelers, one of the most historically successful teams in the league. I just think Brady is a D-bag. The Patriots used to be one of my favorite teams with Drew Bledsoe and co. Since Brady has taken over, they have dropped to the bottom of the list. I also think Belichick, while a great coach, is a complete tool.
Can I ask why you don't like either of them?
Why is Brady a D-bag?
Why is BB a tool?

Now the Ravens, they are a bit boring. Even if this potential game ends up being a defensive matchup then it will feature two of the very best defenses in the NFL and a very fun game to watch.
What's VD have? Like 500 some yards?
Yea, if he's underutilized, what is the fun in watching San Fran?

With Brady, ever since he became a star, it's been all about him. Modeling, dating models... He just seems like he's really in love with himself, like most d-bags are. I am also sick of the media's love affair with him. Yes he is good and on a really good team, but I don't think it's all about him.
Belichick comes off as the biggest jerk ever. He just constantly seems POed, even when they are winning. Spy-gate may not have been the big deal it was made out to be, but it just cements in my mind that BB is shady.
Top that off with the huge rush of new Pats fans out there who have only cared about the team since they starting winning super bowls. I rooted for the Pats when Pete Carrol was the coach and they stunk. I'm pretty much opposed to bandwagon fans who jump onto a team when they start winning.

Well then you must oppose every fan that started liking them in the last 12 years.
That's a big gap. Not everyone starts liking a team when they're bad. It's possible to like a team when they have a winning record. People that ***** usually like a team that sucks at the moment.

Again, I am a Steelers fan and they've won almost as much as the Pats lately. Have you not noticed the giant media circle jerk over the Patriots for the last decade? It's like people hating Tebow because ESPN fell in love with him, and that's only been a couple years worth.
Re: ***NFL Playoffs Thread***
I'm really grateful to Matty Ice for taking down Cheat Carroll.
Re: ***NFL Playoffs Thread***
Just wanted to mention that the last 8 teams had no decent defense when the lowest scoring team had at least 28 points. Seattle was giving up league leading 15 points a game, but alas, they were swamped on defense.
When have you seen 4 playoff games hits the scoring chime so many times during as these games? 900 yards in combined offense was the theme. Hey, the superbowl may be exciting.
Re: ***NFL Playoffs Thread***
We are doing a pool at work now that there are 4 teams left. Each person put 10 bucks in and we drew for teams and if that team wins it all they get the money. I drew the Pats.

You lucked out.
Re: ***NFL Playoffs Thread***
I think a Patriots vs 49ers would be a great super bowl. If the ravens are in it, I'll be going to get more food/beer during the game, so I don't miss any commercials.

The fun in watching San Fran is that they have a young QB who got his first start in Week 11 this year. Harbaugh and Greg Roman are still adding plays and starting to open that playbook up during games.
The potential of this offense has not been realized because it has not featured VD as much as it should, but I'm sure Harbaugh and Roman are working on that already.

Time to bump this. Don't know if others have seen this.

Re: ***NFL Playoffs Thread***
Just the kind of start the Falcons need - jump up 7-0 on first possession and only give up 1 yard in the 49ers first possession.

Ok, how creepy was this commercial? Maybe it's just me, but something just didn't sit well with this commercial.

It's important to keep in mind that Kaepernick is on the cover of SI this week. The editor must be from Atlanta... :jimlad:
