I don't understand how this promotion is going to attract anyone? Yeah they will get publicity, but is someone going to go to the game because of it? I think most people are sickened by the whole thing, regardless of if he knew or not. I don't see many people wanting anything to do with it, especially when the reward is a empty box. Throw in something tangible and maybe it might attract someone, but I think most people want to know the truth and then have the whole matter disappear.

Not sure if any publicity really is good publicity in this case.

If he really didn't know, am I the only one that thinks some of this stuff is kind of mean? The late night guys were joking about it and all, some of it not particularly funny. I'm guessing at least the other people this guy did this too won't be the subject of all this ridicule. Of course, they also didn't get all of the positive attention.
