Yes he was. He was on trial for murder along with his friends. He plea bargained down during the trial and testified against his peeps.

Don't believe everything ESPN avoids talking about. I'm happy USAToday asked him about it recently. Good article. "Keep your mouths shut. I'm not ending my career like this," said the innocent man as he climbed into a limo coated with the blood of the victim.
Slayings not forgotten, Ray Lewis not forgiven

How hard is this to understand people? The blood on his hotel pillow was from football, he planned on getting rid of that suit more months, and that glove didn't even fit OJ.
And these idiots that keep saying "he got obstruction of justice by rolling over on his buddies and testifying against them..he's a scum bag for going down that road on top of it all"... come on.. It's called cooperating with police..doing the right thing. He knew his friends had to pay for what they did. No doubt if someone up above had told him, he should confess with them, he would have..thankfully for every football fan alive, the good Lord told Ray taking that deal was the chosen path.
Go Ravens!!!
Whoa, hold on here, there's a difference between snitching and what Ray Ray did. Ray was the leader of his crew, he put all these guys on. They weren't complaining about getting the free house, car, bottle service, excess groupies etc. but there's a price to pay for all that. And when **** hits the fan and Ray catches a murder case, well now it's time for them to do their job and take that charge for him.

ESPN is very quiet every day about Atlanta and Ray's deer antler deal, as well as the PED guy naming Alabama football, but their lead story on ESPN.com for the last three days in a row is the Te'o prankster and Dr. Phil. During Super Bowl week, Dr. Phil?
