    Being recognized as a hall of famer in your sport is a big deal. It's not exactly like someone at principal getting a raise.

    I didn't say it wasn't a big deal. Most guys who give speeches in these circumstances usually say the other things in life were better. His priorities are his prerogative though. I was also thinking more along the kids line but maybe his kids are ********, I don't know.
