Re: Who is the best WR of all time?
Jerry Rice....nobody else is close. Plus he was unstoppable in Tecmo Super Bowl.

Re: Who is the best WR of all time?
Tim Brown should probably be in the discussion for #2 all time.

Re: Who is the best WR of all time?
Rice is the best no question.
I would argue Moss was the scariest to defend though when he was in his prime (and playing for a decent team, which was the only time he gave a ****). He forced teams to play 2 safeties deep every single play, no other receiver was feared as much as Moss.
Also, Moss is the most physically gifted WR ever, watch his rookie year highlights and try and argue that.

Teams that have Randy Moss always lose the big game.
There's that.

There's that. Really? He had nothing to do with the 98 loss; that loss is on Denny Green. Not his fault in 07 when asante samuel dropped an easy interception to seal the game. Jerry Rice is great, but Joe Montana won two super bowls before him.

They call it the Balitnikoff(sp) Award for a reason...

Re: Who is the best WR of all time?
Rice is easy the best and I'm going to go as far to say I'd rather have Cris Carter than Moss

I know that's not all on the WR, but winning always looks good.

Re: Who is the best WR of all time?
It's Jerry Rice, and nobody else even comes close. The consistency and numbers alone make the case. Moss is a coulda/woulda/shoulda story - you always wonder what he could have done if he hadn't taken plays, games, or even entire seasons off (right, Raiders fans?)
I don't think anyone here has mentioned Raymond Berry yet. His numbers are great considering what defensive backs were allowed to do in his day, and he was the first or one of the first true technicians at the position.
