Though no one really cares about the NBA until post season, so generate some excitement (for nascar) at the beginning and the end with the points race (although I deplore the 10 race chase, little france has just ruined nascar for me).

How many times does the championship come down to whoever wins the last race, though? It's pretty anti-climactic when the champion is determined with a few hundred laps yet to go in the final race.

My future brother-in-law went to school in Daytona Beach. The pictures he uploads to Facebook during 500 week make me extremely jealous. -
Re: *** Official Daytona 500 thread ***
Do NASCAR drivers wear depends so they can just pee on themselves and not worry about having to go to the bathroom during one of these long 4 hour races?

Try just while she's on the track, that should be less than 100 laps.
Did everybody join michaelrr1's fantasy picks group?

Although Stewart did mess himself one year while he was racing with the flu, I think he even one that race, though.

it would have last year but Johnson blew an engine. The year before with Edwards and Stewart they ended the race tied in points, so yeah, that one come down to the last lap. Stewart won on the tiebreaker (wins)

I *want* female drivers, but not ones like her. Didn't hear a mention of Johanna Long yesterday and she was in the race longer and finished better than Danica yesterday. Would have done even better except for that crash. It does no good for women in the sport if they can still only become well known due to their sexiness and not their talent.
