Cue the Chiefs to the playoffs schpeel

Re: New Chiefs QB
Really hope this works out for both parties. Does this mean see ya later, Stanzi?

Re: New Chiefs QB
Not thrilled about it, but I think that was the best option available. No QBs worth the #1 pick unfortunately.

If there had been an Andrew Luck or RG3 this year that would have been the move to make, but given the QB class this year I think a trade for Smith was probably the best option out there.

Re: New Chiefs QB
curious what they gave up for him. I'm guessing their 2nd round pick, and maybe some others. Certainly not their first pick, though. He's not worth the No 1 overall. I'm guessing they go with a left tackle with their first pick, and either move Albert to another position or just let him go.

This one could go either way.

Re: New Chiefs QB
Bad move by KC. Let's see how Smith does without that massive 49ers O-Line protecting him so that he can throw his < 10 yard bomb to the slot.

Re: New Chiefs QB
Alex Smith can run faster than Matt Cassel.

Re: New Chiefs QB
The grasping for straws continues in Bar-B-Que Town. Hope they dust off #19 for him.

Not sure how trading what will likely be around a 3rd draft pick (i.e. someone who may not even make the team anyway) for a legitimate upgrade at QB can really be considered a bad move? Maybe you weren't subjected to the torture of watching the Chiefs QB play last season.

Re: New Chiefs QB
Chiefs choke again! FAIL!!
If you take away first base, they'll just go find a new ballpark to play in.
