Diante getting opportunity to play for Pheonix

Really good article. The coach is very complimentary of him.
"He is the toughest I have ever been around, physically and mentally," Burnham said. "You can beat him down but you’re not going to beat him out. He’s got the mindset of, ‘If you’re going to get me out of this game, you’re going to have to kill me.’ That’s about where he is."

I really hope he can make a career for himself in the NBA! He was a lot of fun to watch!

Shows how much I follow the NBA, I had no idea that Wesley Johnson and Diante Garrett are back on the same team together.

Very cool. To think, if the McDoormat departure/Freddy return had happened a year later, we might not be talking about this at all.
Congrats to DG

I could see that if they didn't have DG listed at 6'7''....just laziness.

Re: Diante getting opportunity to play for Pheonix
I emailed a friend of mine that works for the Suns and he was able to get DGs profile fixed

Some of you may know that I collect ISU player sports cards, and I just found this one searching for DG: 2012 13 Donruss Elite Diante Garrett Rookie 599 | eBay
Glad to see he has one, and is a testament to him sticking around the league.

This would be nice if he was actually getting to play ...

I hope he makes it.
It is really difficult for players to establish a long career in the NBA - I'm thinking Wiloughby, Shirley, Blalock, Brackins.
I read somewhere that 50% of the players who make 1 year of seniority in MLB, never make to 2 years. I'm guessing the NBA might even be harder than that.
