He is a starter, but not a franchise QB. You don't have to be both. The QB play is horrible overall in the NFL. He could easily start somewhere, but isn't the cornerstone of a franchise or anything

What about Atlanta? Is there a team in the NFL more desperate for a QB than Atlanta? It would be nice for Sage to stay in the midwest (Vikings, Bears, Chiefs) I think it is far more likely he could end up with the Falcons, Jets or even back with the Dolphins. I hope not, but it seems more likely.
i dont see him has a dolphin.. from what i remember he didnt get alot of respect there and i dont think he wants to go back

I totally agree. I suggest everyone go watch the games Sage has started in. He has the talent to start in the NFL. He has led some incredible 4th quarter comebacks, and manages the team very well throughout the game. He's not Brett Favre money, but he's certainly underpaid.
I'm a Bears fan and for the good of Sage's career I hope he doesn't get traded to the Bears. The O has way too many question marks and will (hopefully) begin a major rebuilding process this off season. To make matters worse, the D and the cover 2 is also on the decline. Right now, I'm not sure Peyton Manning or Tom Brady would do much better than Orton did Monday night given the lack of running game, sudden decline of the O line and receivers that can't catch a cold. If it wern't for Hester, the Bears would have more like two or three wins tops.
I'd like to see Sage either stay with the Texans for another year and then get traded to a team to compete for a starting spot or get traded to Car or Bal this offseason.
I also would love to see him on the Bears so I could watch him, but for his own good and the good enjoying him playing, I don't think it would be a great match. If he comes here and starts, I won't complain either.
While that's an interesting idea, the reason why it would not work is because kick coverage is spread out about 25-50 yards downfield. Defenses are spread out over 10-20 yards. Hester has shown he can beat out kick coverages where two defenders make it downfield and the rest are spread back 25-50 yards, but if a kicker gets incredible hangtime on a kick and 4-5 defenders are within 5-10 yards of him he has no chance of doing much with it. That's why offensive sets featuring Hester would not work.
So after watching MNF the other night and listening to the announcers, I can't stop comparing Hester to Reggie Bush when he was at USC. Just one of those guys you want to have on the field.
Nice to meet you Buzz Killington.

Brint: Or the way Hansel combs his hair?
Meekus: Or like, doesn't, it's like, ex-squeeze me, but have you ever heard of styling gel?
Brint: I'm sure Hansel's heard of styling gel, he's a male model.
Meekus: Uh, earth to Brint, I was making a joke.
Brint: Uh, Earth to Meekus, duh, okay I knew that!
Meekus: Uh earth to Brint, I'm not so sure you did cuz you were all 'well I'm sure he's heard of styling gel' like you DIDN'T know it was a joke!
Brint: I knew it was a joke Meekus, I just didn't get it right away!
Meekus: Earth to Brint...
