ESPN - Bulls fire coach Skiles; no replacement named yet - NBA

Didn't expect him to get canned, but guess someone has to take the fall for their horrible start. Just odd that a team that is pretty much the same as their playoff team last year has started this badly.

Never liked him. And not sad he is gone. Having said all that, John Paxson dropped the ball this past off season as well...

Paxson should look himself in the mirror and ask himself why he spent 60 million on a guy who is averaging only 5.5 points per game. That was a horrible decision.

They had such a good, young team last year. I think they made huge mistakes in the off-season when every player on the team was on the trading block. That can't be good for the morale of the team.

Pax gave Big Ben the money. They knew he wasn't a scorer when they signed him. He's never been a scorer. It was as much getting him for his defense as stealing him from the Pistons. At the time, I thought it was a good move. Now, I kinda miss Tyson Chandler.

Kenny Mayne made remark about the 9-16 Bulls firing Skiles. He said something to the effect of how the Bulls had hoped to be 10-15 at this point.
