Changes will always be needed at Wrigley and some day the Cubs probably will not play there anymore. That will be a sad day indeed, but with needed bigger stadiums to sell more tickets at higher proces I do not see the like of Wrigley and Fenway staying around forever - Just look at what the Yankees are doing.
Anything that brings more money into the team that wins us a world series is great.
I think it will be awesome seats for fans
I still think the rooftop is the best way to go!
I'm more concerned about the new owner of the Trib selling naming rights to Wrigley and God knows what else might happen to the Friendly Confines.
Wrigley Field invented naming rights....
"Although Weeghman was clearly the most dominant figure in the revamped Cubs organization in 1916, a number of investors had taken up minority shares in the club. One of the new investors was chewing gum magnate William Wrigley. Over the next couple years, as Weeghman's financial fortunes off the field entered a sharp decline, Wrigley acquired an increasing number of shares in the club and took on a growing role in the team's affairs. In November 1918, Weeghman gave up his remaining interest to Wrigley, resigned as president, and left baseball for good. Wrigley would acquire complete control of the Cubs by 1921."

In terms of the new seats I'm not worried about it until I see pics that would suggest that I should be worried. I didn't think they could put a wrap a round light ring (or what ever it's called) in Hilton and have it look good - so it goes to show I'll let the pros decide what will look good.
The bullpen box seats already exist on the first base side. These were installed a couple of years ago and it really didn't change the park at all, so it shouldn't be a big deal putting them on the third base side as well.
I got to sit in these seats at a game against the Brewers last season. It sucks the Cubbies lost, but the seats were awesome!
You can go to the ESPN Zone in Chicago and see a replica of Wrigley field made out of Wrigley gum wrappers. It's very cool.
I thought that the tribune was selling Wrigley Field along with the club, not just the naming rights.
