I say good Favre...this might be his best chance to get back to a Super Bowl
It'll probably be "good favre" but I'm hoping for "bad favre"
Seattle does have a pretty decent defense, so I think he throws 1-2 picks. But I don't see Seattle having much luck against the Packer D and Favre & Co have too much ability to stretch the field to be kept down.
Just remember. It's never Brett. If his numbers are down. His receivers did not show up. Now don't you dare say anything bad about Brett Favre.
I'm hoping for Bad Favre. Maybe he'll play like the Dallas and Chicago games!
IMO, Favre didn't play poorly in the Dallas game - when he was in. The gameplan the Packers game into that game with (to start) was horrid...just horrid.
When Rodgers came into the game, the Pack reverted back to what they had been doing most of the year and had success.
IMO, had the Packers started the game that way - who knows how that one would've turned out.
Its hard for me to root against Favre. I hope he does well and takes the Packers to the Super Bowl. He is good for the NFL and really fun to watch.
Or I he's going to have a really bad day, his wrist or thumb or something is giving him pain that he is just playing through. He's a good player, but the hype gets a little old.
Hope the Seahawks can put a lot of pressure on him. Their D-line looked good last weekend.
They better be careful not to get within arm's reach of him after he throws a pass though. The refs can't wait to lube it up for Favre with all the late-hit/roughing calls he gets. Anybody else about puke that game when the ref just decided "screw putting on an act" and flat-out started high-fiving Favre? Now THAT'S what I call being impartial!
If the TV announcers are falling all over Favre I need to switch to the radio broadcast and turn down the TV sound. Many of the big name announcers are in love with that guy. That's enough to make me puke.
It's going to be Grant - Favre.... Strong dose of Grant for a Packers win. Favre will be consistent but not relied on in the tundra! Go Pack Go!
The only way the same Favre that played in the Chicago game shows up is if the temperature on Saturday drops 20 degrees and the wind kicks up big and bad. Favre will be at his Lambeau best and as the last guy said, mixed with a heavy dose of Ryan Grant, will dominate the Seasqwuaks.
Green Bay forecast:
Saturday
Mostly cloudy. Scattered flurries. Highs in the upper 20s.
