How does Hobbs not claim us? One year he says his college the next his high school...next year it will be ISU again. He just rotates them so he gives each place his love. I've seen Hobbs wearing ISU gear countless times.

Have you people forgotten the number of interviews he's done wearing ISU shirt or hat? Or ISU garb behind him in his locker?

Or the bet he lost to a fellow teammate of another Big 12 school from this past fall - forcing Ellis to hang the jersey of that teammate in his locker (pssst, he bet ISU to win and we lost).

Or maybe...the time(s) he's come back to Ames - yeah - that never happened.

He's a damn Cyclone - he poured his heart out on the field for us and hasn't bashed us since he left. He's given love to us and his HS.

Ellis definitely does have love for ISU. Earlier this year he was forced to wear a Texas Tech jersey because he lost a bet to Sammie Morris. What more support can you show than making a bet on our team last year against Texas Tech. And yes, I alos have seen numerous pictures of him in ISU gear at interviews.

He wore a Tech jersey(which I just eluded to)??? He lost the bet? How could he do that? Why didn't he do something in order to win the bet. Surely he could've had an impact on a game in which he could not play in. Why did he "chose" to do nothing?

Disown him...strike his name from our record books...send the dirty mob after him!

also, what is so bad about him showing love to the town he lived in for 18 years of his life before coming to Iowa State. I think its great that he is proud of where he came from. The introductions are done one year at a time. You can't say something for one game and then something else for another as they are recorded at the beginning of the year.

There is a lot wrong with that.

Once Ellis arrived in Ames, that's all he should have ever known and loved. He should have never left either, even for road games - could've stayed back to profess his Cyclone love.

In fact, he should have given up the chance at an NFL career and millions of dollars and stayed in Ames - drive around in ISU apparel just to prove how much he's devoted to Iowa State.
