Davis Pressuring Kiffin to resign

ESPN - Raiders coach refuses to heed Davis' call to resign - NFL

Old man is a nut. Seriously, they started to come around and I think Kiffin can really help turn that thing around and give them some, gasp, stability. I guess old Al wants to hire Denny Green now...

I agree 100%. If kiffin resigns too, despite doing a 10x better job than Art shell, I doubt any good coaching candidate will want to come withing a mile of Oakland. You need patience to win championships, and Al Davis seems to have forgotten that.

Kiffin had the Raiders competitve without a good running back, defense, and QB and Davis wants the guy fired?!?

Why would anyone want to coach there is beyond me...

I heard from a reliable source that Ferentz is a candidate.

I wonder if he would even last a day.

Not a shocker.. being a Raider Fan for years.. the best thing that can happen to that franchise is for Al to Die

Its amazing to me that he doesn't give anybody a chance to establish anything. With a crappy team that he has he isn't going to win the superbowl. I don't know all the stats of how many years each person has been there but recently he has only given a coach one or two years. Kiffin, Shell(twice), Norv Turner, Callahan, Gruden. It's getting ridiculous.

He is also cheap. He probably wants to pay someone less. Maybe he really wants Callahan back.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

As a life long Raider fan, I agree. I have been saying this since he ran Gruden out of town. I refuse to pay for a ticket to a Raider game until he expires.

Now reports are saying the Raiders never pressured him to resign. Why would Lane make up a story like that? Best for him to get out of there. Its good that he is sticking up for himself though.
