Here is a Mock Draft for those that are curious. Link
I'm a little surprised by the first pick as it seems Miami has had QB issues for sometime now. Sure they got Trent Green, but how much longer is this guy going to go. And is John Beck the next guy? Only time will tell.

When you're the #1 pick, you have to take the best that's available. Miami might also win some games if they had a better defense. Dorsey could help there. Although, I'm surprised that he's still considered #1 on many mock drafts considering his injuries. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if Howie's kid pops up to 1.

Someone please tell me that the Vikings aren't going to seriously take DeSean Jackson with their 1st round pick. Aren't they already stocked at WR with undersized track stars who can't run routes? Who do they think they are, the Detroit Lions?

I was hoping they would go after a safety or maybe some d-line help.

WR is a lacking position, and Jackson seems to be the early favorite. Tell them to take a gamble on Blythe!
They really do need a more modeld WR though.

What would you think about having our own Poll to pick the first round of the draft? Each NFL team would pick starting from the top down. We could use the players that the "experts" see as viable first-rounders. We take the players off as they are picked and post themn as drafted. Trading up or down may be a bit difficult. But it sounds like fun. Any takers?

Oh yeah, they definitely need a quality WR, but DeSean Jackson is basically a more athletic version of Troy Williamson. If Limas Sweed can show he is healthy, I wouldn't mind seeing them go after him. Maybe even Malcom Kelly from OU.
They could also use some help in the secondary and obviously at QB. Maybe they will try to put together something on draft day to trade for a known commodity at QB. I'm not sold on the Tavaris Jackson experiment.

I'm not sold on the Tavaris Jackson experiment. I think they are still relying on Jackson. He showed some poise at the end of the year that could really roll over into next.
Limas Sweed could be a good one, nice thought. There just aren't any clear cut Calvin Johnsons this year. I think we're looking for a James Jones this year.

the QB's in this year's draft do very little for me. Not one of the three projected first rounders is particularly exciting in my opinion. For Ryan and Brohm, you can question the quality of opponent that they played. The ACC had a down year, by most accounts, and the Big East is a question mark any way you look at it. Woodson played in a great conference, but he played for Kentucky. Not exactly a premire pro factory when it comes to QB's. *cough, Tim Couch, cough*
