Can someone explain to me how the current predicament the Giants are in is the fault of their defense? You know...holding the Pats to just 2 TDs and making Brady look averagish most of the game?

I don't disagree that they have been fantastic all night, but I'm saying that the talk may come that Eli will be the new Manning that can't win the big game and this situation is not his fault.

The Pats are clearly a better team - the Giants are playing a near-perfect game. The thing keeping them in the game is their defense.
I'd contend you can go back to that first drive - getting just a field goal so deep in Patriot territory - as to why the Giants are losing.
