Does Archie Manning's DNA now get a display in the Hall of Fame?

The guy would have been run out of town by now by the NY media. New York has killed more athletes careers than they have made because of their media.

I dunno about P. Manning being more level-headed.
Eli almost never shows emotion. Good/bad/ugly - usually the same blank stare. This has actually been something people have criticized him for. Being too calm/dull/oblivious.

I just do NOT have respect for his whiny attitude when he got drafted - he took grief from the media at that time because he was a spoiled brat.
I think he played a heck of a game today - and has won some incredible games over the last few weeks. Many props on that.

He was perceived to be a spoiled brat.
If you don't want to go work for Company A - you have that choice. In the NFL - that choice is a bit tougher - especially during the draft. When you make it public you have no desire to "work" for "Company A" for certain reasons - you're labeled a brat. I defended Eli for his decisions then and I'll continue to do so today.
He didn't want to play for SD and I don't blame him at all.

He didn't want to play for SD and I don't blame him at all. Unless you're a free agent, you really don't get this choice in the NFL. Especially not if you're an unproven rookie asking for millions of dollars. I respect that people like him a lot - and again, I think he's had a heck of a year. I just choose to not enjoy his attitude.

I had always been kind of hard on Eli as the rest of the media, but man he has proven that he's a Manning and he has the heart of a champion. That last drive was something that Peyton couldn't do or even Brady this year. He had a great post season and it was fun watching him.

It's too bad for Ellis Hobbs. Keyshawn Johnson just called him the "duck" of the Patriots. He made a key interception in the first half, when the Giants were about to score. He had a good game up until the last TD by Burress, which is all people will remember.

Agreed... But he did get burned on the biggest play of the game, so he will be linked to that play forever.

He was part of 2 of the biggest plays of the game. One good, one bad. Brady had those too (TD pass, fumble). | |
