This guy was great yesterday. Awesome calls. Kept the pressure on all game without giving up deep plays in the secondary.
Can the giants keep this guy? I think if Steve wants a HC job, he could probably get it based on the superbowl alone.
Thoughts?

Redskins need a coach and Snyder has the coin.

I hope Chizik can land him on his staff.

I was surprised at how tough the D-Line was for the Giants! Great game plan and wonderful execution! I would give that guy a look for sure!

He's as good as gone unless the Giants pull a Jerry Jones and throw more money at him than what the Redskins are willing to offer.
Their offensive coordinator won't be around too much longer as well.

So the Giants that won the superbowl really won't be the same team at all next year despite having young players and very few guys up for free agency that matter to the team.

Snyder has never been coy, if he's talking about Meeks then that is probably his #1 target. The Skins can get anyone they want, they paid Steve Spurrier $5,000,000/year for goodness sake.

I'd venture to guess if Meeks was in fact his #1 guy - he'd be hired.
The fact Snyder has not yet hired anyone tells me Spagnuolo is very high on his list, if not the #1 guy.

I think it's pretty well known that there was a reason that the Skins hadn't offerend anybody. They were waiting on the game yesterday so they wouldn't be tampering.

I think he's just checking out all candidates first. Snyder is also loyal and likes what he knows. The fact that Meeks worked for him and he specifically mentioned him leads me to believe he's the guy. We could ask Vinny Cerrato, he would know and he's a Cyclone!

Having said that, I do think Spagnuolo is a better choice than Meeks. I never said Snyder was smart.

Spagnuolo has 1 year under his belt as a DC. Kinda seems to me that Synder is just going with the flavor of the week.

I've often wondered if he is the Al Davis of the NFC. He used to go after big names after they were past their prime and over pay coaches.
