Believe what you want but if he did that he might as well hand McNamee a ton of money on a gold platter to save him the trouble of a lawsuit for defamation of character...

** Assuming McNamee can prove he did use steroids..

That's what I was thinking. Weird. Normally I would say Clemens lawyers defense that it's "manufactured evidence" is garbage- but the idea that you would keep around dirty syringes for 7 yrs makes the "manufactured evidence" somewhat believable.

That said, I don't know where he would have access to Clemens blood to manufacture it either....

I have about 3% of me that thinks he may be telling the truth. The only reason that I feel that way is, why would someone lie about takin roids knowing that if they go to a grand jury and get indicted they are goin to the klink. If i knew that was going to happen to me if i would just come clean and move on. But up til now, I thought he was guilty as they come.

Just like Raphael Palmeiro? Not only did that guy lie under oath, he did it knowing it was a televised hearing!

Rocket might have thought there was no possible way that it could be proved with physical evidence that he did it...that it only would be his word against the trainers.

IMO there is about as much chance he didn't take steriods as Barry Bonds didn't take them.

Nobody knows, it's sealed... He came out saying he told them what he has been saying all along, but it could just be a show...

Right. But just like the Bonds/Sheffield testimony...there is a good chance some of it will be leaked. All I know is that I wouldn't want to be Roger right now.

I listened to some of Dan Patrick's radio show today, and he said that he had been told that there would be a "bombshell" to come out within the next day or so on this case. This must be it. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

People around the world actually bought into that "good guy" image? I though he kind of lost that when he "intentionally" plunked Piazza in the head with a fastball and later chucked half of a broken bat at Piazza that happened to come flying at him when Piazza broke the bat on a pitch. Maybe it's just me, but Clemens? Choir boy? I don't think so. Then again, with all of those unresolved anger issues, maybe it should have been obvious that he was on 'roids.
