He probably got a concussion from the door hitting him on the way out.

He's too old, and it would be dangerous for him to keep playing.

The thing is he wants to keep playing. I think he is crazy personally. I am friends with some people who are related to Trent. And the last I heard which was back in December, is he wants to play another year.

Though maybe this will change his mind.

This is more of a fiscal move for the fins. I would bet you will see him re-signed with them for the veteran's minimum. He was due a roster bonus that would have counted against the cap. Doesn't hurt to have a veteran there to help coach the other Qb's since they are pretty young and inexperienced.
