Bears release Moose

Sad to see him go but it had to be done. This will most likely mean that Booker will be back in a Bears uniform again next year.

He was getting up there in age who cares no one to throw him the ball anyway. Da bears need to make a play for Sage or Senaca.

I was reading this thinking "since when did Darryl Johnston come out of retirement to play for the Bears???"

He should have stated "Bears release Moose (the one with 43 concussions)."

One got his nickname because he was an animal. The other got his nickname because no one can spell his name.

It was in my mind for like 1/100th of a second. Then, I realized - Darryl would never lower himself to those standards.

I kid! I kid!

But seriously...

i highly doubt booker will be back. They'll sign Berrian to a long term contract, IMO, and keep building with him and Olsen as the keys to the passing game. I can't wait for the last weekend in April - this draft decides Angelo's fate. It better be good. I'm guessing OL at #14, RB or QB in the 2nd round, and then WR in the 3rd. I'm guessing they go stricly offense for the first day (just two rounds this year) for sure, and then go from there.
Put the money into Briggs. He deserves it.

Here's the link:
ESPN - Bears release Muhammad, sign Brown to two-year extension - NFL

I am sad to see this... Muhsin was a great guy... I loved watching his weekly show on CSN. I understand the move though.

They REALLY need to sign Berrian now!
