No NFL = BORING

Okay... So today is the first Sunday since NFL ended that I am totally bored.

I am watching the combine and golf... Oh my god... This is SOO boring...

P.S. 1000th post for me!

I'm not. I'm not much of an NFL guy, so I'm fine, plus NBA and college basketball are on. :)

It is. Almost 80 degrees, I just got back from a short jog. (Found out my left knee still sucks)

80? I wish I was in Texas right now. It feels really warm out right now, and where I live, it's 33! It feels really warm since it's been below zero for a while. I be you don't miss Iowa right now.

Yeah, there is precious little sports left until football starts in the fall. Once march madness is complete in April, we have to wait till July for the Tour and then Aug for the olympics.

There's always baseball.
BTW, why don't they have the dleague play in the summer? They could attract a lot more fans that way, and they wouldn't have to worry about the weather.

Exactly - although I do like watching Sunday at the Masters. And you can take me off the list of "Tour de Farce" watchers... that sport is dirtier than baseball! Olympics is good, but once the Masters is over, baseball can only feel so much of the void, and it's such a long season it's hard to stay focused every single day. Training Camps reporting is the best part of July!!! :)

because that would be pointless.. d league isnt just another random league.. its a farm league? is that the right term.. but they have it so when u have teams like the cavs who only had 6 players after that trade to dress.. called up 2 d leaguers and bam they are ready to play

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."
