I think he stays. The last few drafts don't seem to be as bad as they have been the last 20 years. He is making the team younger and rebuilding. The defense was solid last year until they wore down, because of the 3 and outs that the offense had most series.
Best case scenario and least likely, I am right and he does well.
Worst case he bombs the next two years and he gets to go and we finally rid ourselves of King Carl

I have yet to be dazzled by Herm's efforts in KC, but tell me what other coach would be tearing up the NFL with the team of AARP members Edwards inherited. Even the ghost of Hank Stram would be struggling to get these guys to matriculate the ball down the field.

Put him out to pasture. Marty Ball has a chance to at least win. The Chief offense is stinky. Herm has not been a ball of fire anywhere.

Fire him and to save some money call a taxi cab for him and Carl Peterson both to leave in. I really have no idea what these 2 guys have for a plan.
