Is this really news?
Ok, is anyone listening to KXNO right now? (I'm streaming it in over the internets)... anyway, during the "sports update" they do seemingly every 5 minutes, the last "story" they are reporting is that the NFL is considering starting the season's first game an hour and a half earlier than the scheduled kickoff as it is now so it doesn't conflict with the republican national convetion. Wow. That is some heavy stuff coming out of the NFL today. It's March 26th and the possibility of moving a game in september up 90 minutes is newsworthy. I realize that once b-ball is over in Iowa, the sports news slows dramatically, but this seems to be a bit of a stretch for "news."
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. Re: Is this really news?
I dont know how sports news could be slow during the NCAA tourny, baseball season beginning, and spring football time.

I understand what you mean, I just was referring to news regarding the local teams. I just remember the CR Gazette and DSM Register sports sections being thinner in the spring when I was growing up back in Iowa... yes, there is quite a bit going on nationally....

Okay, baseball season may be underway but almost no regular season games are underway yet and I'd hardly consider spring football huge sport news. So essential you've got basketball going on, which is fairly newsworthy but in states like Iowa lacking a pro team and who's college teams are out of it, I'd call it quite slow.

The way I understood the rule was that you can have long hair, it just has to be tucked up into your helmet. This is to prevent getting yanked down by your hair.
