Re: Barnstormers

It was a good time. They have some work to do as a team but I think Gregory will get them on track. It was good to see Berryman in action and make some solid plays. Glad they are back in DSM.

Re: Barnstormers

The music was far better than we've had in JTS...I'll give 'em that. The game was also far better than I expected. Berryman did play well for the most part. I was severely annoyed with him on a couple plays - notably the one he got completely out of control in and instead of making an easy sack - ran right by the QB - who threw a long TD pass.

Fireworks stuff was a bit odd - especially the bang after every Barnstormer score. That thing was very obnoxious - sounded like it came from below one section of the bleachers - couldn't have made them happy.

All in all - relatively fun. If we get $15 tickets again, we'd go.

What are tickets usually?

I watched it on Mediacom. Looked like fun. The announcer guy seemed kind of Hickish though.

there was alot of hickish there...

but i had a great time, lots of energy in the building, even when the team was down there was stil alot of energy, wish i could go to another game this year but i dont know if i will be able to..

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

I also meant the announcer of the game for the crowd not TV:) TV was Morgan and Bruns I believe.
