I'm wondering what everyone is thinking of their fantasy teams thus far this season.
My best picks:
Nate McLouth- I had him pegged for a good season but he's been outright fantastic right now
Mark Reynolds- pretty much won a couple catagories first 2 weeks, cooled now)
Josh Bard- nice low round value who's hit well for a C
Worst:
Jose Reyes- ouch low avg, 1 steal, no power.
Matt Garza- sucked before and now on DL
Troy Tulowitzki- thought he'd take it to the next level, thus far not much production.

I tried fantasy baseball last year and got bored with it after a week. I suppose it's not too late this year to give it another go. I already can't help but start to research for fantasy football!

My team is absolutey loaded, but is in 11th place in a 12 team league. I have Giambi, Mourneau, Ortiz, Jeff Kent, Ian Kinsler, Hunter Pence, Matt Holliday etc. My starting pitching is pretty good too, but I just can't do anything. I also made the ultimate boneheaded fantasy move by dropping Rick Ankiel. (I thought he would really drop off this year.)

Hard to compare for me, I don't usually do 12 team leagues. 20 teamers are my forte. I enjoy the challenge of really having to find value in rounds 15-20something

I love fantasy baseball. We do a 12-team, 23-player auction, national league only. 9 pitchers and 14 position players. As for some of my team, Tim Hudson and the old-tmer Greg Maddux have been great so far, Brandon Phillips ok. Very disappointed in Andruw Jones and his .148 ave. Ryan Braun and Aramis Ramirez have some hrs, but aves stink. Bret Myers pitched well last time out, but was lit-up previous starts and still has era at 5.00. Overall, in the middle of the pack in my league.

fantasy baseball is what keeps me interested in baseball. Granted I will always be a Cubs fan, but when baseball has gone on strike the only then that brought me back was fantasy baseball.

Shawn Marcum is a pleasant surprise i have on 3 of my 4 teams.
Justin Upton is tearing it up so far, but I doubt it'll keep up all year.

I went for pitching this year while evryone drafted batting: Holliday, Wolf, Webb, Harang, both Corderos, Soria, Francisco Rodriquez, Lackey, Maddox. I run only one spare batter. Ryan Howard has not so hot this year. Picked up McLouth two weeks ago also.

Well I am a little concerned about my pitching but very happy with my offense so far. Tough to see CC struggle after winning the Cy Young last year, Beddard on the DL now as well as Borowski and I have just 4 wins total from a staff that had several double digit win guys last season.
Soto and Fukudome have been better than advertised so far, DeRosa a solid FA pickup and I really have little complaints from the offensive side of things as I'm near the top of every offensive category except average. If the pitching every gets it going I should be fine.

When I saw the title of this thread, I wondered why it was in the "Football" forum. |

Hey guys,
I am a huge fantasy baseball fan, but as i am still in college i can't afford to pay for extra stuff.
If you play on yahoo- they have a stat tracker thing, but you have to pay. I recently stumbled upon(i didnt create this), but something similar to that tool. If you use firefox, you need install the greasemonkey extension. then check out and install this s-cript for it http://userscripts.org/*******/show/5143
EDIT- well a filter is catching the word 'scri pts' so i can't post a link rather this-
http://userscipts.org/$cripts/5143
REPLACE The "$" with a S
Sorry for the problem- Mods is there anyway to take care of this?
While it is not perfect(i havn't figured out to customize the stat fields), it does help out a bit. It also doesn't total up the scores to show what the score of your match or up to date standings either.
If anyone else has something similar, lets discuss!

Danrog, that last name hit the filter for some reason. Do you want to format it differently so it shows up? It looks interesting and I would love to have something similar to stattracker.

have you ever got caught outside In a strong rainfall? Yes or NO. If it"s yes, then you might half felt the pane of hard(tought) rain on you head. If it hurt"s then it"s tough. Yes or no. Okay I'm right and you know it.
So alothough you attempt"ed to say you didn"t understnad, now you do. Fair enough?
