here is a chance for Murton to show if he can play in the big leagues and also gives the cubs a chance to get more interest for a possible trade

This should've happened in the first place. Although Patternson's numbers we're better with runners in scoring position, Murton was hitting better all around. With Reed Johnson taking leadoff and his hot bat, this can make room for Murton down in the 6th hole. This is a realy opportunity for Murton to show what he's capable of and push for a trade that will benefit Murton and the Cubs. Although, with the injuries to Soiano in back to back season, Murton might be a good insurance policy and start doing a 70-30 rotation in LF. Just a thought.

I am surprised that Murton has zero extra base hits this year..he has ben getting on base but it has only been singles.
