But why would a team in the bottom half of the league give up much for an aging WR who isn't going to put them over the top?

I don't know exactly what the financial implications would be if Johnson is traded, but it sounds like they would be large and it is just impractical for him to be traded.

I hope they don't trade him. I am sick of these players getting what they want just by being impossible to deal with. When the first week of the season comes around and missing his paycheck is looking him in the face he will get in line.
