I believe that if we are truely in a rebuilding stage we need to ge Matt Ryan @ #5 so that Croyle has some competition. And then build around a Quarterback not off of another player.
# 17 I hope that Otah or far fetched Clady will be there.
So who should the Chiefs draft at #5 and then @ # 17

I would draft linemen this year and if you still need a quarterback look next year or 2 years down the road once the line is built, a running game is established, and the QB actually has a chance. Hopefully they don't go with Gholston as I see him failing as much as Ryan Sims (different position but just as unsuccessful) |

If you get Long at 5 then get Clady if there or Williams from vandy. If they get Albert first then go after Harvey from FL, DE from Clemson or a top CB if there. Ryan scares me I just don't think he is a franchise QB I think he is better then Croyle but not worth a top 10 pick.

Brody Coyles initials says it all.
He is like buying an SUV when gas prices are high.
Go for Matt The Lion Ryan

Some draft "experts" are saying that Brohm and Flacco could be better QB's than Ryan.
Regardless, I expect Carl Peterson to find a way to bomb in this draft like he always does. |

Plus linebacker an interior linemen are not the Chiefs weaknesses, Blythe is a 3rd or 4th WR at best and Meyer isn't even worthly to carry a clipboard in the NFL. Hey, let's take Shaggy in the 7th round while we're at it! |

Dorsey may not have filled a huge need but he's an upgrade and possibly the best player in the draft. Albert fills a need on the OL and Flowers falling into the 2nd round was a nice pick at CB.
Still need to find the DE and I'd like to see them pick up a QB and WR in them mid rounds too. Maybe someone like Ainge or Brennen will slip into the 5th round? Manningham is still on the board in the 3rd round at the moment. |
