More proof that John Madden has a huge crush on Favre. Note I did not say man-crush, this is more like a junior high type crush. I'm not sure that Madden has much to do with the game anymore. He lends his name to it, and that's about it. Shoot, he doesn't even do commentary in the game anymore.
That being said, he does have a total crush on Favre. It's pretty sickening.

I love brett favre and really respect him, but listening to madden talk about him is unbearable. bretts done some amazing things and had a great career but he is not even in the top 5 best QB's of all time, but john madden would make it sound like he is/was the best player ever.
it is kinda interesting to put a non-active player on the cover as a kind of slap in the face of the believers of the madden curse.
