Absolutely, positively agree. Just pointing out that TOs were an issue and it appears they continue to be an issue.

Sounds like Taylor was huge for the NBDL championship game...

If I had to guess...I would say he ends up playing for New Jersey Nets.

Do you think he gets drafted. I know the Bulls could use a scorer like him

Would not surprise me...but it's going to be a deep draft this year.

Can you get drafted if you're already playing in the NBDL?

So he had 2 assists and 27 points. Let's just say that makes it 31 points of offensive. He had 7 TO's, lets just say that's 14 points he gave up. In my twisted world that means he only scored 17 points. Not bad, but not great. I still think he's more of a liability than a benefit. You'll get this kind of game 1 out of every 3 games, but you'll get the TO's every game.

But he also had a steal and six boards, so that makes up for the TO's, right??

Not in my twisted world. Only points, assists and TO's count.

Here's his stats for the season. There is no way he's going to get picked up with those kind of stats. He's not even a starter.

Re: Mike Taylor is tearing it Up in the D-League Championship

You won't get much playing time in the show if you're turning it over once every 4 minutes.

Manu Ginobli and Deron Williams had the most TO's this past year at 3.8/game, with each playing 32 and 43 min/game, respectively. Both were also over 20 ppg and Williams averaged 9 assists per game too. NBA level guards just don't turn it over very much, and if they do (and they're not superstars), they will be looking for a new job shortly.

Yes in his situation. I think it's because he doesn't have a NBA franchise he is affiliated with, but I'm not 100% sure on the real reason. But I do know he is eligible.

Mike has been VERY fun to watch in the Dleague. ISU's best talent since Fizer/Tinsley. Great player forced to do EVERYTHING his only season. Great to see him playing well. Good luck in the NBA Mike!

He never declared for the draft and now he can.. also him not signing with anyone is the reason he can...

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

I don't see it not being an issue for him, ever. He can score at will, just as he can turn it over at will.
