Either that, or just hire a good coach and then let him coach.

There is a 5% chance he will hire a good coach and let them coach. But, there is a 100% chance of him finding that hole. That dude is driving the franchise through the ground and into the upper mantle.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

i wish they wouldnt say who they're gonna pick until they draft, it ruins the fun of the draft

Thank you Wes Johnson for the great 2 years you gave Iowa State. Wish you could've stayed. Best of luck to you, wherever you end up.

"The one thing I really want to say is to tell the fans thank you for everything," Johnson said. "You rooted for me, you were behind me with my injury, and I really appreciated that."

Their best bet would be to trade down. Trade with New Orleans so they can get Dorsey. New Orleans is willing to trade OT Jamaal Anderson in order to move up, according to McShay. That sounds like KC's best bet.

The ticker on the bottom of ESPN is showing ESPN Scout Inc. Needs and I think the Chiefs had about 7 different positions most teams have 4-5.

Yes, of course they should. Justin Fargas can play, and they don't know what they have in Michael Bush yet. That team has a ton of needs. I still laugh at the historically stupid contract they gave to Javon Walker.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

i see the saints r offering pro bowl tackle jamal brown and we can swap picks .... maybe they should also throw in a 3rd rounder this year and id consider it ..... take care of a line need .... get either golston or harvey at that ten spot and then get another pick in the later rounds instead of waiting ...

And the contracts they gave Tommy Kelly, Terdell Sands, JaMarcus Russell, Zach Miller, I could go on, but you get the point. There is a collection of partially trained chimps running the organization.

Well their hands were pretty much forced with Russell. However, that deal to Walker was just awful. He got more years and more money per year than Randy Moss coming off of a record breaking season. Javon Walker hasn't done anything since he hurt his knee. And it's not like it was a signing they felt they had to make to put them over the top.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

But back to the draft. While these leaks kill a little suspense, this couldn't have worked out better for KC (other than Dorsey going to the Rams). Rather than 10 minutes to work out a trade, the Chiefs now have over 2 1/2 hours.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

The Chiefs really need to trade down and get more picks. After looking at their depth chart, they are doo doo. They need help everywhere.
