Re: Cards/Astros

The Cardinals have plenty of games left this year to prove they are bottom dwellers.

'But I love the idea of the Sacrificial Lamb. . . There are consequences to actions. The point of the death of Christ is that Christ took on the sins of the world, so that what we put out did not come back to us, and that our sinful nature does not reap the obvious death. That's the point. It should keep us humbled. . . It's not our own good works that get us through the gates of heaven.'

And the Cubs have plenty of games left to blow their lead and make their fans start talking about next year...

Who won the central last year?

So many comebacks...here's a short list:

1. ...and the previous 3 years? and 4 of the previous 5 years?
2. ...and quickly exited in the NLDS?
3. ...sorry, I didn't pay attention to last year. I was too busy admiring the Cards 10 World Series trophies.

All in good fun.

Yup. Pretty easy to be a Cardinals fan. Humility is not part of the equation.

All in good fun.

Scroll up and see who made the first wise-crack before you go spouting off about humility.

Actually Card's fans would be closer to the Hawks and I don't know how many times on this site I've seen ISU fans compared to Cubs fans(in a negative way).
