NFL Draft 1st Round...How many stars?

Found this bit of info for the ongoing discussions of how much star ratings mean for a kid coming out of HS.

"In the 1st 31 selections of the NFL draft there were THREE non rated players, NINE 2-star players, EIGHT 3-star players, SEVEN 4-star players and FOUR 5-star players"

Re: NFL Draft 1st Round...How many stars?

Looks like when the offensive tackles, qbs, cornerbacks started to go, the pro teams jumped into those positions full force. Having so many wide receivers did not create as much of a stir. Just a quantities game ended up driving the draft. If you are drafted in the last two rounds, you might not be as well off as signing a free agent contract. New orleans can use all the help they can get outside of Colston.
