Isn't today (Mother's Day, 5-11-08) is the day you see some players swinging a pink bat for cancer research support?
Suppose a player hits for the cycle or goes 4 for 4, etc. Could he then use his "lucky" pink bat beyond just today?

Maybe that player could bid on his own bat, keep the bat, and donate the money to charity.

So, four White Sox dyed their facial hair pink, and it's burnt off the hair on Bobby Jenks, Toby Hall and Nick Swisher's faces. John Danks still has his, but I'm guessing it's cause of his overall awesomeness.
