Credits: 399,732 | Re: Eephus Pitch Seems to me like the risk/reward would be too great. Sure you could probably catch a hitter way off guard 1 out of 10 times but the other 9 times the hitter probably jacks the ball.

The 5th the umpire told me it probably was a strike but we had such a big lead he didnt want to show up the other team.
