Meaning many of their starters have been drafted directly by the Colts (which I believe they have) and the rest were back-ups picked up in free agency and trades.
They're not the first to do this (See also, The New England Patriots).
However, it's not like the Colts are void of talent. They don't need to go sign guys like TO, because they already have that kind of talent on their roster. That will likely change as a couple guys retire or depart...unless they continue doing quite well in the draft and finding diamonds in the ruff.
I agree they will probably have to venture out and fill some holes in the future. But after watching the Vikings go out and sign "big" free agents and trade their draft picks away it makes me wonder about my squad. But I guess it couldn't get any worse for the Vikings in the draft (Minus All Day AP of course).

Unlike the Colts, the Vikes needed to do that in a few spots. Other than AP and a guy or two on defense, they really don't have many stud players. Regardless of team cohesiveness - you need to have a few of those guys to win most (but not all) of the time.
