Big Brown
Will Big Brown be a triple crown winner
-
Re: Big Brown
Yes, he won that one cruising in 2nd gear, and could have won by 10-11 lengths if he went all out. He is going to be right up their with Secretariat, Seattle Slew, and Seabiscuit as one of the greatest horses of all time.

Re: Big Brown
Yes. He completely dominated today and barely had to work at it.

Re: Big Brown
Can you imagine if he does it next year also

Re: Big Brown
I would like to think that he will win the triple crown, and i really want him to as well, but it seems like the Belmont always seems to make the horse with a chance at it falter. Smarty Jones, Funny Cide, there is a couple more but i don't feel like looking. Hopefully he can do it, but I'm a little hesitant

Re: Big Brown
Big Brown will be making the owners lots of money being a stud next year.
I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone. -
Re: Big Brown
Put him on the cover of Sports Illustrated. That will fix his go kart.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Big Brown
I don't know if any of you really know horse racing, but winning the Preakness by a huge amount is NOT rare. The horses that enter are usually longshots that hope to upset the Derby winner. The Belmont won't be full of horses that are 35-1 shots like there was today.
Now, I agree. He was crusing there at the end. He's got a great shot at the Triple Crown, but don't think it's hands down. It was supposed to be hands down last year, and that horse barely made it out of the gate.
And the person that claimed Big Brown will do it next year has absolutely no idea what he's talking about.

I think there have been 10 or 11 horses since the last triple crown winner (Affirmed -78) to win the 1st two fairly convincingly and all have failed in the Belmont, arguably the hardest leg of the triple crown......

Re: Big Brown
I think Peter Pan will be tough to beat though. He is another great horse.

Re: Big Brown
I know absolutely nothing about horse racing, so I didn't know that the possibility to do it two years in a row is ridiculous.
