Enjoyed the game yesterday, pretty exciting even though the Cubs lost.

Last at bat of the game...
Bunted into a double play...
Soriano was a crowd pleaser...
This was after Soriano's first home run...I was trying to catch the ball as it came into the crowd, but got this instead. One of my favorite shots of the day actually...
Nice shots! Thanks for sharing... what kind of lens were you using to get those?
I rented the 70-200mm 2.8L IS lens. I love it. Will need to buy it soon I think as it's likely I'll be doing the photos for the Iowa Lightning (semi-pro FB team in DSM).

Missed that one. I shot off and on during the game - tried not to spend the entire time shooting.
Those are some fancy photos if i must say so myself. You should try to get out to Fenway sometime and take some shots there. I absolutely love going there to watch the Sox play.
"These are my new shoes. They're good shoes. They won't make you rich like me, they won't make you rebound like me, they definitely won't make you handsome like me. They'll only make you have shoes like me. That's it." - Charles Barkley
Very nice job, 22!! If you haven't already purchased your lens at least check with Rick down at H.B Leiserowitz downtown Des Moines. They're down by the new library construction but they have they're own parking lot across the street. I got my latest lens from them and they gave me very close to the same price as the online places. Plus there is no shipping charge. Not sure if you will get the same type of deal with the 70-200 but it's worth the phone call.
Question for 22 about the game. I assume you have General Admission Bleacher seats for this game. How many rows up were you and when did you arrive for the game?
I'm heading to a game in July, Thursday day game, and I've got bleacher seats. I've never sat in the bleachers, so wasn't sure how long in advance I needed to be at Wrigley to get a good seat.
Thanks!
41-51 Record in CF Mafia. The most games played and wins by any player in Cyclone Fanatic History. Yes, I'm a nerd.

I sat in the bleachers for the same game and got in about 45 minutes before first pitch. We got seats in the second row right next to the evergreens on the RF side. Of course some other people already there spotted them for us but they were open. What and amazing way to watch a game, and I am not a Cubs fan. Hey 22, left field sucks!
