    Cubs are top of MLB

    Since everyone else is having a love fest of their teams today I just wanted to point out that the Cubs own the best record in MLB coming into today.

    it hasnt been a pretty game at all but hopefully the cubs can take advantage of the wind and score some runs.

    The Cubs deserve respect at this point, as they've been playing very good baseball. There's not really an easy out in the lineup -- especially if Zambrano or Marquis are pitching.

    I do think their home/road splits are a concern, though. 23-8 at home while 10-13 on the road. As they play more road games to even out the disparity, they're going to have to play better than .430 baseball away from the friendly confines.
