    Lolo Jones

    She just qualified for the Olympics. She went to Roosevelt and than went to college at LSU. Congrats to her!!!

    That's awesome! I remember her winning everything at state when I was in HS. Anybody remember Cyrus Nichols being the stud boys' hurdler from Roosevelt around the same time?

    Wow... She was just on Sound Off and she is donating her prize money from the recent win to flood relief efforts.

    How incredible would it be to have 2 metro athletes win gold at the Olympics.

    I also saw Soundoff, where she said she would donate her winnings. With Lolo and Shawn, we have two classy athletes representing Iowa in the Olympics. ( I think we have two other track athletes from Iowa going as well. I don't remember their names.)
