I agree. I guess it is just like every other network they have 15 guys in the studio. Half of them talking about how great they were when they played. DP, Olberman, King, and Costas talk about some egos on that set.

I was hoping before I read the article that Dan and Keith were completely taking over - and Peter King along with the former players were staying. IMO, that would be a killer show...good mix of talent.

Instead Dan and Keith will be completely relegated to comic relief, pop culture, etc. They're good at that, but Dan knows sports too.

I will probably be watching Sunday Night Football every week now. Hopefully those two do the highlights of the day's action together, and we get the return of the playful catchphrases...
