it says Chad Gaudin is part of the deal from the A's as well... that seems pretty good for the Cubs all around. Thanks for the very good first half Sean; you pitched way beyond expectations.

Harden is still an injury concern, but I really do think the Cubs just worked over Beane.
I'll admit it, I was dead wrong about this. I still don't understand why Oakland would make that move.

If Harden stays healthy, great. If Harden returns to the guy who started 13 games combined the past two years, the Cubs are going to regret trading Gallagher.

thank you crosscyed for admitting you were wrong lol... i just heard this on sportscenter and about crapped myself, we gave up way less than i thought it would take im so pumped.... if harden can stay healthy (big if) then it puts the cubbies in a great position, gaudin could also replace marquis in the 5th spot if marquis tanks again like he has for the last 3 years

Gaudin could very well be the real steal. He's a really good pickup.
Harden passing the physical is also an honest concern.

gallagher will be good but come on this is a huge win for the cubs
gaudin isnt bad though 5-3 with a 3.69... 6 starts and some work out of the pen
