AL Wins!
They win again, I believe that it's 11 in a row!
"These are my new shoes. They're good shoes. They won't make you rich like me, they won't make you rebound like me, they definitely won't make you handsome like me. They'll only make you have shoes like me. That's it." - Charles Barkley -
Re: AL Wins!
For a bunch of all stars, that was an awful display of situational hitting.

I hate the home field advantage.

41-51 Record in CF Mafia. The most games played and wins by any player in Cyclone Fanatic History. Yes, I'm a nerd. -

Re: AL Wins!
Not that it matters to be because the Tribe will not be in the post-season but it was a great game!

Re: AL Wins!
This is great news. The Twins ARE 2-0 when having homefield advantage in the world series.

Re: AL Wins!
The closer for the Orioles who held them in the game is also a former Northern Leaguer, not by choice though... He played for Winnepeg.

Re: AL Wins!
I was hoping the NL would pull through, but it didn't happen. I was very glad to see the loss didn't fall on Dan Uggla's shoulder's though. I just felt awful for the guy. The announcers said that he was fulfilling his dad's dream of watching him play in Yankee Stadium. His line for the night: 0-3, 3k with 3 fielding errors. Man, that was tough to watch but I'm glad the loss ultimately wasn't his fault (though you could argue his strikeouts with men on base did).
The AL should've won it long before the 15th. Kinsler was easily safe at second and Navarro was safe at home.

Re: AL Wins!
Cook had the best pitching performance, in my opinion. Bases loaded, no outs, and he throws pitches for little ground balls to get out of the jam.
Made Hurdle look like a genius for leaving him in there. I can see why he trusts him, and why he got selected for the game.
