Fight in Royals/Sox game
Carrasco threw 3 straight at Olivo, Olivo rushed the mound, AJ held him back.
AJ was the only one punched again.
Sox down 10-0, so there may be more fireworks, cause this team sucks right now.

Re: Fight in Royals/Sox game
So who has more hits in the game? The White Sox Fist or their Bats?
41-51 Record in CF Mafia. The most games played and wins by any player in Cyclone Fanatic History. Yes, I'm a nerd. -
Re: Fight in Royals/Sox game
Sox didn't swing their fists or bats today.

Re: Fight in Royals/Sox game
i wouldnt really call it a fight. i think i saw one attempted shove. ozzie and the umpire had nearly as much contact (none) but more animation... that was more of a fight than miguel and the pitcher.

Re: Fight in Royals/Sox game
the part i enjoyed most was watching all the young royals jump in with the "guys stop it. stop fighting" mentality. aviles was most obvious, but you could see meier, gordon and butler all not really know what to do.

The quasifight makes me respect Uribe, AJ, Hall, Anderson and Danks more for getting right out there.
But yea, most of them were skiddish.
Greinke beans Swisher.

I wish he would have put one in AJ's back but that will do.

Pierzynski plays the game hard and smart, and apparently that pisses people off.

Re: Fight in Royals/Sox game
Olivo wasn't hitting Carasco no matter what. In fact, I thought he slowed down so he could get a piece of AJ. He's pretty much universally disliked by just about every other player in baseball. Kneeing guys in the groin, stepping on 1st basemen, starting crap with other catchers...class act.

Re: Fight in Royals/Sox game
Somebody has to pay. I am sorry to see it be Swisher as I like how he goes about the game. At least Greinke did it the right way putting it on his hip.
You knew somebody was going to get hit. I would have been upset if they had not retaliated. Olivo has been beened 3 times this year all by Sox pitching.
The irony is that Olivo is a former Sox player and Carrasco is a former Royal. The other two beanings came at the hand of former Royal, Octavio Dotel.
Gotta have your guy's back. Good Job by Greinke!

Stuff I haven't seen him do for the Sox.

I was fully expecting AJ to get hit.
I doubt we hit anyone else unless Dotel comes in, honestly.
