Fantasy Football advise
It's that time of year again where I ask for advise from the smartest sports fan out there (cyclone fans if I have to tell you)
Anyway, I'm sure I will feel it out who is going to be my stud running backs half way through the year, but since some of these guys are new I thought I'd get your advise.
Which running back would you start alongside Willis MaGahee?
Darren McFadden(rookie)
Johnathan Stewart (rookie)
Chris Perry (Hasn't started since 2006)
Justin Fargas (Shares time with run DMC)
I think they all could have decent years, but who do you think should start week 1?

Re: Fantasy Football advise
Opponents
McFadden and Fargas against Denver
Stewert against San Diego
Perry against Bal.
I was leaning toward Perry, but he is going up against a pretty stingy front 7 of the Ravens

Re: Fantasy Football advise
I would also like to know if you would start Ronnie Brown (Miami) or Kevin Smith (Detroit)

Re: Fantasy Football advise
I would personally go with Ronnie Brown, but that a tough one also. If you are like me you will pick the wrong one every time. -

So start Smith, and god, do I need to get a life.

Re: Fantasy Football advise
And DJK15, I wouldn't start Drew Tate if I were you, because he sucks!

But thanks for the info, I was leaning towards Kevin Smith but I didn't know if he would be directing a movie with Jay this weekend.

Re: Fantasy Football advise
Gotta go Perry, Mc Fadden is going to win this poll because there are a lot of non-fantasy players voting.
Perry is the only one not in a timeshare, and McFadden is quite possibly the worst pick: a rook on a bad offense in a timeshare ... VERY dangerous combination.

Re: Fantasy Football advise
I would start Perry and McFadden and wait on Mcgahee. I know they say he is going to play, but I think his injury is much worse than they are saying.
As for the other one. Kevin Smith. Rudi Johnson complicates things a bit but I still think he will get more carries than Ronnie Brown

Just because Ricky has looked pretty good. But don't expect much from either.

Umm, actually, Perry is in a timeshare with Watson, and he goes up against a much better D than DMC does.
Don't confuse hope for a plan. -

I was leaning toward Perry, but he is going up against a pretty stingy front 7 of the Ravens If you base it on last season's stats here is what each defense gave up for rushing yardage per game:
Baltimore: 79.2 yds 9 td
San Diego: 107 yds, 11 td
Denver: 142 yds, 14 td
Last year Oakland was 4th in the league as far as rushing attempts.
Of course it's hard to predict in the first game of the season how much Denver's defense improved or how much Baltimore or San Diego worsened but I would probably give McFadden a shot.
