    In the meantime, Ned Yost pulls Sabathia with a 2-1 lead, and the first pitch that Gagne throws is bombed over the fence to tie the game. Second batter doubles.

    2-2, bottom of the eighth. SD had 2 on, 1 out and then runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out and got no more...

    I know the brewers have a terrible bullpen and need to win but yost left sheets in the whole game and he threw 120 pitches. This after he had to leave his last outing with a groin injury. I think by the time the last week of the season rolls around sheets and c.c. will probably have nothing left in the tank. Oh well at least we have a smart manager who tries to limit pitches for his pitchers so they can last the whole season
