    Re: Turner

ISU could not contain him when they played NIU. He would hit the edge and noone could catch him.

He had the chance to be the 2nd best back in the NFL, he just happened to be on the same team as the best. I was predicting a monster year for him this year before today.

    Re: Turner

I did three fantasy drafts and got him in all three, as my #2 back. I knew he was a stud, but wasn't sure if he would be able to show it in Atlanta. Hopefully this wasn't a fluke game against a poor team in Detroit.

I have him but started Addai and Thomas Jones instead. Jones got me 21 points, in my league Turner would have given me 44!

I'm on track to score the second most points this week in my fantasy league... My opponent, who has Turner, is on track to score the most.

Are you in the Cyclone Warning league? (CF)?

Edit: Just looked and saw that's a Kyle, so I'm guessing it's you. Man, I hate it when you lose with the second most points...

I went to the game where they beat us in Dekalb. Holy cow that "Another Husky first down" crap got old as a visiting fan. It's one of the reasons I take so much joy in doing it to visiting teams.

    Re: Turner

I have Turner as my #1 back, and he scored 37 of my 91 points today! I'm comfortably beating my opponent, and as it stands right now, I would've beaten anyone in my league except for one person.

I knew Turner was behind LT for a couple years, but figured he's the only thing ATL has.

As the resident Falcons fan on this site, I agree with the above post. Although it was a good win and showed what the future in Atlanta may very well look like, I still think this is going to be a very long season for the Falcons. Just now instead of being the 31st rated team in the NFL, we might be somewhere around 25-ish.

Like I said, good win, but the kind of win that fans that don't think before they talk will develop unreasonable expectations for the season after.

I think this coming week at Tampa will be much more telling for Turner, Ryan, and the Falcons.

I don't care who they played, 220 yards is a lot. You don't see too many people put up over 200 yards in a game. That happens, what, once or twice a year at most?
